PROXIM was founded in 1992. From the very beginning, the company distributed construction materials on the Polish market and abroad. Due to the proximity of the border with Ukraine and Belarus, companies from the Eastern Europe as well as from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Italy, etc., held a significant share of sales. Proxim distributed construction materials both produced by Polish manufacturers and imported from European countries. In 2001, the company owner started successful cooperation with Asian manufacturers of fibreglass mesh, sarking membranes and house wraps. It was one of the first and biggest domestic importers of fibreglass mesh.
This paved the way for the company that became one of the leading Polish distributors of lightweight construction materials (waterproofing membranes, mesh). The majority of the products offered by our company is marked with EUROWEK logo — our own, proprietary commercial brand.
In 2012, the company commissioned its own production plant for manufacturing of industrial fabrics and fibreglass mesh for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS). PROXIM is the largest manufacturer of these products in Poland. Owing to innovative manufacturing methods and team commitment, parameters of our products classify them at the forefront among the European manufacturers and often exceed the parameters of the products offered by manufacturers with more than a dozen years of experience. We have always paid utmost attention to the method of packaging the products, which guarantees safe shipment and storage without the risk of loss of performance.
The company currently manufactures products for numerous leading international manufacturers of construction chemicals, which confirms the top quality of our products. Apart from manufacturing own products, it is the leading distributor of membranes for the construction industry and beads. Thus, we are able to provide end-to-end supply for our customers and diversify sales.
The PROXIM’s mission is to meet the demands of its customers in a fast and efficient manner by delivering high quality products included in regular portfolio, and to obtain new products resulting from market changes concerning the construction technologies that emerge in Poland.
Our company focuses on technological innovations and continuous development. We can boast of a lot of patents covering the fabrics, method of their manufacturing, and their impregnation.
